In the magical and green Anapo valley, at 2,5 km from Palazzolo Acreide, in the province of Siracusa, you can find a small and charming B&B called Anapama.

The B&B is an old "masseria" (manor farm) entirely renovated by its owners and surrounded by hills covered with woods of oaks, holm oaks and nut-trees.

The Anapo river marks the northern line of the property while the old rail track Siracusa-Vizzini, disused for more than 50 years, marks the southern.

The B&B consists of three bedrooms en suite (two with a kitchenette). To make your stay more comfortable there's also a swimming pool with spring water. The owners' three horses can be hired to ride along the valley and further to the nature reserve of Pantalica, which is the largest necropolis of Europe and only 5 km from Anapama.

Anapama is structured as a staging post for riders, walkers or cyclists who can enjoy this wonderful landscape.

Palazzolo Acreide has been classified UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the rich Barocco architecture in the city centre and the small Greek theatre, which hosts performances and concerts in late summer. Noto, which is well known as the capital of Sicilian Baroque, is 27 km from ANAPAMA. From this spectacular town you can drive for a few km and reach the beautiful and tropical looking beaches, which are part of the Nature Reserve of Eloro-Vendicari.

Palazzolo Acreide is situated on the "Monti Iblei", at about 700 m above sea level. It can be reached from Siracusa along the SS Maremonti (45km). Once you are in Palazzolo Acreide follow the signs for Anapama or call the owners at
